Exilis works by using focused radiofrequency energy and high-frequency ultrasound to tighten skin. The energy from the heat disrupts old collagen fibers and stimulates new collagen to grow in the treated area, resulting in the appearance of tighter skin in the area. It takes four treatments total, usually one to two weeks between treatments. You will see results after four treatments, and continue to see results up to three months after the treatment as new collagen is forming in the area. It can be used to treat wrinkles around the eye area, forehead, and nasolabial folds, and tighten the skin under the chin, arms, and deĢcolletage. It will take 30 minutes to treat each area.
